Hidrobaza Dog Park
A safe space for dogs and their owners
Project details
Location: Pula
Client: City of Pula
Year: 2025
Nestled behind Hidrobaza Beach in Štinjan, Pula, this park is designed as a vibrant, safe space for dogs and their owners, featuring separate zones for large and small dogs, as well as a secondary grassy sunbathing area. The dog park areas will be fenced, each with two secure pedestrian entrances and one maintenance entrance, while 2-meter-wide paths will connect the main walkways.
Each zone will include an access path with benches and picnic tables, an agility course, and an open field for running, including small hills for active play.
The secondary sunbathing area will be a grassy space designed for beach activities for both owners and dogs, with shaded areas for comfortable relaxation. Nearby, additional beach amenities will be installed, such as dog-friendly showers.
The project also includes preserving existing large, healthy trees on site, along with planting new ones to provide shade and enhance the overall aesthetic of the area.
This project will create a safe, functional, and attractive public space for dogs and their owners.
