Rearrangement of a section of Valkanela beach and its immediate hinterland

The preliminary concept proposes the rearrangement of a section of Valkanela beach and its immediate hinterland. It aims at raising the quality and diversity of experiences the area can offer. Part of the coast is currently not suitable for use or is insufficiently equipped. Therefore, it will be transformed into a functional and safe area through the use of different design and structural elements. The project seeks to give this place a unique sense of identity through the juxtaposition between linear and circular elements. The newly restored pathway in the background, along with a green belt, will contribute to the continuity of the design.
