Canova bay has been themed as a resort beach for a wide range of users. The focus is on families with young children, i.e., the most frequent camp visitors within which the beach is located. The project has transformed a currently degraded and dysfunctional place, lacking in contents, into a typologically diverse environment with a primary and secondary beach. The redesign was approached respecting the existing restrictions and it involved the creation of sunny and shaded beach lawns, sunbathing plateaus, and sandy and pebbled bays that can accommodate a wide variety of activities.
